Meet Our Staff
Nancy – Hygienist
With extensive experience in the practice of Dental Hygiene, Nancy is not only highly skilled she is very compassionate, caring and understanding. Her dedication to continuing education and devotion to individualized care for her patients is apparent during every visit with her. She holds special licenses in the administration of local anesthesia and the monitoring of nitrous oxide gas. Nancy also is the administrator of the NJ Dental Hygienist’s Study Group. When not in the office she enjoys spending time with her family, photography and just being out doors.
Mary Ann – Certified Dental Assistant
Mary Ann has been a CDA dental assistant since 1987 and has specialized in periodontics since 2009. She started in 1987 at the Fairfield Dental Institute and Somerset Vocational School. She is a self-starter and takes ownership of any situation no matter how complex. She is detailed and a pro at all dental procedures. She is our Office Manager at Suburban Periodontics and Implants. What she enjoys about Dentistry is the one on one hands on communication with patients, always showing empathy and compassion towards the the patients, making them feel comfortable educating them and letting them know what to expect reassuring them that they are in good hands. On her spare time she loves to play music with her family. One of her talents is playing percussion instruments in her church choir. She loves to travel and enjoys quality time with her husband, son and dog Charlie.
Suzy – Office Manager and Certified Dental Assistant
Suzy started as a dental assistant while still in high school. She quickly learned that she had a passion for caring for patients. After enhancing her dental education by assisting in different types of general and specialty dental offices, she joined Suburban Periodontics in 2017. In her spare time, she enjoys going out dancing and spending time with her husband and family.
Linda– Patient Coordinator
Linda is our Front Desk Receptionist and Administrative Assistant. She has a background in Human Resources and has excellent customer service skills. Linda came out of a seven year retirement to continue utilizing the skills she acquired during her 34 years working at a Fortune 500 insurance company. In her spare time, Linda enjoys singing, reading, and traveling, as well as spending time with her husband and family.
Caroline – Dental Assistant
Caroline recently graduated from Fairfield University with her Bachelor of Science in Health/Human Biology and Marine Science with a minor in Health Studies. She is currently applying to dental school in hopes of becoming a doctor. Her passion is to play a part in giving patients confidence in their smiles. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach and trying new restaurants.
Shannan – Study Club and Marketing Coordinator
Shannan is our Study Club and Marketing Coordinator. She also runs Journey for Excellence (a local chapter of the Seattle Study Club), a continuing education program for about 30 dental professionals in our area. She has a background in event management and Health and Safety for film and television. In her spare time, Shannan likes to travel, attend live music and theater events and spend time with her family.
