Meet Dr. Robins
Cheryl Goren Robins, DDS
Dr. Robins is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. She received her D.D.S. from New York University College of Dentistry in 1992 where she was valedictorian of her class and recipient of 13 other major awards and commendations for academic and clinical excellence.
Dr. Robins received her certification in periodontics from New York Veterans Administration Medical Center where she served as Chief Resident of the Dental Service. She also received extensive training in dental implants as part of a Fellowship in the Department of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at NYU College of Dentistry.
Dr. Robins currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgical Sciences in the Department of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at NYU College of Dentistry. She is Co-Director of Journey for Excellence, a chapter of the prestigious Seattle Study Club, which was honored with an “Excellence In Study Club Management” award. Dedicated to staying at the forefront of her profession, Dr. Robins travels extensively to numerous continuing education meetings and courses throughout the year, and is an active member of over 10 national and local dental organizations. She has also been honored by being named as one of New Jersey Monthly’s Top Dentists multiple times and can be seen featured in Ken Schlager’s interview article in the July 2009 issue.
