Meet The Staff




With extensive experience in the practice of Dental Hygiene, Nancy is not only highly skilled she is very compassionate, caring and understanding.  Her dedication to continuing education and devotion to individualized care for her patients is apparent during every visit with her.  She holds special licenses in the administration of local anesthesia and the monitoring of nitrous oxide gas.  Nancy also is the administrator of the NJ Dental Hygienist’s Study Group.  When not in the office she enjoys spending time with her family, photography and just being out doors.



Dental Assistants:

 Mary Ann Pacheco, CDA

Mary Ann has been a CDA dental assistant for over 30 years and 9 years in periodontics. She started in 1987 at the Fairfield Dental Institute and Somerset Vocational School.  She is a self-starter and takes ownership of any situation no matter how complex. She is detailed and a pro at all dental procedures.  She is our Office Manager at Suburban Periodontics and Implants. What she enjoys about Dentistry is the one on one hands on communication with patients, always showing empathy and compassion towards the the patients, making them feel comfortable educating them  and letting them know what to expect reassuring them that they are in good hands.  On her spare time she loves to play music with her family. One of her talents is playing percussion instruments in her church choir.  She loves to travel and enjoys quality time with her husband, son and dog Charlie.



  Suzy Padeiro, DA Suzy started as a dental assistant while still in high school.  She quickly learned that she had a passion for caring for patients. After enhancing her dental education by assisting in different types of general and specialty dental offices, she joined Suburban Periodontics in 2017.  In her spare time, she enjoys going out dancing and spending time with her husband and family.
Grace has been assisting in Prosthodontic, General Dental and Surgical offices since 1985. She joined Suburban Periodontics and Implants in 2017.  Grace loves working with people and takes pride in being a part of patients’ dental goals and outcomes.  In her spare time, she like to refinish furniture, go to the beach, and cook.


  Lucy Nieves  

Lucy’s knowledge of the world of medicine started in 1997 when she worked for a major pharmaceutical company. In 2014, she joined Suburban Periodontics and Implants where she was able to bring her knowledge and expertise from the medical field over to the dental office.  Customer care, problem solving and insurance matters are where she is a key player to helping patients achieve their dental goals.  She enjoys meeting and greeting patients and their families, and values the long term relationships that she has established.

Lucy  has a loving daughter and a handsome grandson that are her pride and joy.
