As periodontal diseases progress, the supporting gum tissue and bone that holds teeth in place deteriorate. If left untreated, this leads to tooth loss. Many times, the early stages of periodontal disease are best treated with non-surgical periodontal therapy. When surgery is necessary, we provide the most up-to-date treatments including bone grafting, crown lengthening, gum grafting, ridge preservation, sinus lifts, and CT Scan-guided surgery.
Dental Implants
Dental implants are changing the way people live. They are designed to provide a foundation for replacement teeth which look, feel and function like natural teeth. The implants themselves are tiny titanium posts, which are inserted into the jawbone where teeth are missing. These metal anchors act as tooth root substitutes and provide stable anchors for artificial replacement teeth.

Suburban Periodontics and Implants is proud to be at the forefront of dental technology. We offer digital diagnostic radiography which exposes our patients to 75%-90% less radiation than traditional x-rays. We use a perioscope that has been specifically designed to explore and visualize the pocket (space) under the gum of teeth. And we offer CT Scan Guided Surgery which involves the use of three dimensional CT imaging to better visualize the patient's bone without having to surgically expose the area.
